Father Josiah Trenham
LS0082
The book of Jonah is a text that is found amongst the Minor Prophets of the Old Testament, and is much beloved by believers not only for its Christological typology in which it sets forth the death, burial, plundering of Hades, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ but also because it is simply packed full of spiritual themes like obedience, repentance, sinful nationalism, God's call to mission, the enlightenment of the nations, brokenness, rebellion and grace, the love of enemies, and much, much more.
